Farm direct marketing and agritourism have arrived. Just two decades ago NAFDMA was one of a small hand full of sources on the continent folks could go to in order to advance their knowledge and skills in a this trade. Today, our industry is flourishing. Government agencies, non-profit organizations and private services in every state and province now reach out to farmers and the general public in an effort to support and promote further expansion. What does this mean to our membership and the industry at large? What adjustments and strategies are warranted on the part of our association to ensure consistency in the ongoing industry leadership provided by NAFDMA since 1986? Our panel will outline the discussion at hand, give some insights on preliminary steps being taken by our Board of Directors, and set the stage to capture your input, as next year’s Board of Directors prepares to Rethink, Reorganize and Redefine the North American Farmers’ Direct Marketing Association.
3:30 p.m.    Input, questions and ideas from the membership
                    President Rob Leeds presiding

3:45 p.m.    Meeting Adjourn

All NAFDMA members should plan to attend this meeting!
