Conventions
NAFDMA ConventionsEach year, NAFDMA hosts the premier farm direct marketing convention
in North America. The convention moves to a different region of North
America each year. Members get the opportunity to see new markets and
hear new marketing ideas in a professional, noncompetitive environment.
The convention includes a three-day Bus Tour, a day of full-day Workshops, and a two-day Conference with concurrent sessions. It
also includes a Trade Show, which kicks off on Workshop day at 3 p.m. and
concludes on the last day of the conference.
Trade Show
The trade show connects farm direct marketers with suppliers of
goods and services that
are unique to our industry. The trade show is
for the benefit
of those who attend additional components of our
convention; a trade show only option is not available. Exhibitors gain
new clients, farm marketers locate new sources, and service
professionals make new contacts and spread the word on product lines
that offer new opportunities.
Bus Tour
NAFDMA members only. NAFDMA’s bus tours are undoubtedly the
best-kept secret in today’s world of high technology. What do you get
when you cram 55 like-minded farmers into a 300-square-foot space for
three days? You get real people, real dialogue, real time, and real
knowledge and relationships that last for a lifetime. The tours visit
tourist destinations that highlight the culture and environment of the
host regions. More important, participants visit the most outstanding
farm markets in North America. They’re not always the largest, the
newest, or the richest. They are innovative, successful, and the most
willing to share their secrets, their shortfalls, and their dreams for
the future.
Workshops
NAFDMA members only. NAFDMA members benefit from the size
and ability of the association to attract top name speakers with proven
skills and experience. Our workshops go into the details of their
subject matter for six hours. They are one of the conference highlights
for those members who crave knowledge and a thorough understanding of a
topic and who recognize that their success rides on their ability to
stay on the cutting edge.
Conference
NAFDMA’s two-day conference features more than 50 presenters in a
variety of tracks, which change from year to year. We bring in top
speakers who address a variety of issues. Your peers from around the
world provide the backbone for the concurrent educational sessions.
It’s NAFDMA sharing at its finest.
