Food in Austin

Your breakfasts and lunches on Friday and Saturday of the conference are included with your conference registration.

You might also opt to join a few hundred of your closest colleagues for dinner and dancing at the newly revised Awards Banquet. It’ll be like being at the Golden Globes, except that there will also be some two-steppin’ and country music twangin’ in the air.

Need some coffee to get going in the morning? Perks, located on the second floor, brews Starbuck’s coffee. Your room at the Hyatt Regency Austin also comes with an in-room coffee maker.

Like all good college towns, Austin has no shortage of restaurants. And when you’re in Austin, many restaurants also include live music. After all, Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World! You’ll find plenty of Tex-Mex and barbecue joints in Austin. You’ll also find a huge selection of other cuisines. May we recommend the Bitter End for local brews and tender steaks? The Clay Pipe for Indian cuisine? The Moonshine for an eclectic yet yummy menu?

If you don’t want to leave the hotel, LaVista won’t disappoint. The fajitas are a highlight of its Tex-Mex menu. You can also enjoy some appetizers down in the Branchwater. Sip a strawberry daiquiri while enjoying the scenic Town Lake.

If you head to 6th Street, the heart of the food and music scene, we suggest the Iron Cactus. And if you feel like sampling some local flavors, how about a Mexican martini?

Trust us: You won’t go hungry (or thirsty) in Texas!

Join us for all or any part of our Convention.
Each component is priced seperately.
