The beautiful, modern Hyatt Regency Austin is our conference headquarters hotel. It’s located on the shores of Town Lake, which is bordered by several miles of walking trails. The hotel is 12 blocks from the Texas State Capitol Complex, and it’s even closer to Sixth Street and the Warehouse District, two hot spots for great food and drink and lots of music. It’s also about a mile from the new Whole Foods Landmark Store, located at the corner of 6^th and Lamar.

You’ll want to spend time relaxing in the Branchwater, a sprawling bar in the center of the hotel. Lots of comfy chairs are perfect for catching up with friends! If the weather’s nice, sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake and the city. Or, take a walk on the 8.5-mile Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail. The trail meanders around the lake, passing by numerous birds, a couple of wisteria arbors (but they won’t be blooming in January) and even a statue of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Trail markers every quarter mile mark the distance. Ask the concierge for a map of the trail.
