This workshop will feature retail training both at the Kalahari and at Orange Tree Imports, the downtown Madison retail store of Carol Schroeder. Orange Tree Imports is a specialty shop featuring an incredible combination of kitchenware, toys, cutlery, candy, gifts, specialty foods, cards, soaps, glassware and more. Each of the more than 30 staff members has a section of the store of which he/she is in charge. The store also features four front windows whose displays need constant updating. In addition, Carol runs a cooking school out of Orange Tree. Carol is the author of Specialty Shop Retailing: Everything You Need to Know to Run Your Own Store. We'll have lots to learn!
